Hi there! My name is Dawn Harden and I am an avid writer and author. I have self-published 2 novels: 'A Flowered Thorn and 'A Letter For Brighton. I created a website at www.thefloralgreens.weebly.com which features many of my other writing accents. I also love cooking, my favorites being Mexican, Chinese, Italian and Soul Food. I specialize in homemade cakes decorated in fresh flowers.

The site also features a blog to inspire and encourage you on your journey to find and keep a better sense of self and family wellness.

I have had the joy of being an off again on again caterer since 1985 back when my mom would encourage me to "make a little something". From there I just always wanted to see people happy and if cooking was a key element in making that happen I was satisfied. 

Another goal for me is to become a Sign Language interpreter as I have been involved with Deaf Culture for the past 8 years. I absolutely love it and learning the language has kept me humbly inspired and open to exploring other ventures.

To say that I love to write is an understatement. I think long before I could walk I could write. I believe we all have a voice and it is up to us how we want to be heard.
